Detailed tracking for all accounts

I've been using Mint for a few weeks now, primarily for the expense manager and investment tracker. The initial setup involved linking about five different bank and investment accounts, which went surprisingly smoothly; only one required re-authentication after a few days. Transactions usually update within 24 hours, giving a fairly current picture of my finances. The categorization feature is robust, and I appreciate the ability to create custom categories for specific spending habits. The net worth calculator aggregates everything nicely, providing a clear overview. I haven't needed customer support, so I can't comment there, but the in-app guides were sufficient for any questions I had. It's a solid tool for anyone serious about tracking their full financial picture.

My finances are organized!

I absolutely love Mint! I used the personal finance tracker and it's a game changer. Everything is in one place, so easy to see all my money stuff. The expense manager is super helpful, I never knew where all my coffee money went until now. Setting it up was a breeze, and it updates so fast. I'm telling everyone about this, definitely my new favorite tool for getting my finances together!

Helped me out with my spending

So I tried out Mint to get a handle on my spending, you know? It was pretty cool. Connecting my bank was simple, and it showed me all my transactions in one spot. It just felt really easy to use, no complicated stuff. I liked seeing where my money went without having to manually track it all. Definitely helped me feel more on top of things.

Worth it for the price (free!)

As a first-time user, I was looking for a free way to manage my money. Mint delivered on that. I used the budget categories and transaction history. It was free to set up and use, which was my main goal. I didn't pay for any premium features. It showed me my spending without costing anything extra, so it felt like a good deal. I managed to save a little just by seeing where my money went.

Solid features, minor hiccup

I signed up for the budget planner and credit score monitor. The budget categories were helpful for understanding my spending, and the credit score update was a nice bonus. Setup was mostly smooth, but one of my smaller bank accounts took a couple of tries to link properly. It eventually connected, though. Good value for what it offers, especially the free tier. Could improve the initial syncing for less common banks.

Has anyone used the Mint Premium? Wondering if it's worth paying for or if the free version is good enough. Also, are there ever discount codes for the premium stuff?

S Sofia T. 1 month ago
I've always just used the free version tbh, it does everything I need. The premium probably has some cool extra features but I've never felt like I was missing out.

They do have discounts sometimes! I got a month free once, and I think I saw a Black Friday deal last year for a percentage off. Keep an eye out around holidays or if you're upgrading, sometimes a promo code pops up then.

Hey, thinking about trying Mint for budgeting. Does it actually link up to all your bank accounts and credit cards easily, or is it a hassle to get everything connected?

N Nathan H. 1 month ago
Yeah, it's pretty straightforward. I've got like 5 different banks and cards connected, never had a problem. Just type in your login stuff and it usually just works.

Mine connected fine for most accounts. Had one small credit union that was a bit finicky for a day or two, but then it synced up. Updates pretty regularly too, so you see transactions fast.
